NOCFD wants every Imperial homeowner to be able to read about the CFD taxes, sign a petition and follow the lawsuit, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive tools.
What we're doing
Writing in plain language and explaining legal and tax terms.
Adding text descriptions to images and documents.
Using readable text sizes and color contrast.
Reviewing new pages and posts for accessibility before we publish them.
Known limits
Some older documents, such as scanned petitions and court filings, may not be fully readable by screen readers. We are working to provide text versions.
Third-party content
Some pages show content from outside services, such as embedded documents, forms and payment pages. We can't always control how accessible those are, but we'll help you get the same information another way.
Events and meetings
If you need an accommodation to attend a petition drive or community meeting, tell us in advance and we'll do our best to arrange it.
