IMPORTANT SIGNING THRESHOLD REACHED!

Fifteen percent of all registered voters in Improvement Area 1 of CFD 2004-2 are required to place the petition on the ballot. As of February 16, 2026, more than 27% of all voters in the Area have signed the petition and more than 53% of all the landowners have approved it!

There is wide and growing support for our effort to repeal all CFD assessments in this part of the City of Imperial. The petition seeks to have the developer pay off the bonds so no one else needs to pay CFD assessments in this Improvement Area in the future.

That is an estimated savings of over $27,000 for each homeowner in the Area.

The City Council refuses to hold a public hearing on the measure.
